SECTION 1
Although there are many different types of hazards, most workplace injuries and ill-health are down to a relatively small number of common causes. We’ll be concentrating on these in this section, we’ll look at slips, trips and falls, manual handling, DSE, working environment, fire, electricity and hazardous substances.
SECTION 2
Employers must comply with health and safety law to ensure everyone’s safety. To do this they’ll have safety policies and procedures in place. You need to know what’s in these, and you must follow them. In this section, we will be looking at what’s required of an organisation to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
