Yes, you will be issued with a certificate on successful completion of the course
Assessment by the instructor will be continuous throughout the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate in Wound Management for Healthcare Assistants. This provides a foundation for developing practical competence, but hands-on wound assessment must be gained through supervised practice and mentorship in your workplace. You should only progress to more independent wound care tasks when both you and your employer are confident in your competence, in line with local service protocols and delegation policies.

Perfect for newbies or as a refresher for those that already have the skills. Would be of benefit to all HCA’S looking to further there skills net as you can go back to practice to ask for some on hand training to help take some pressure away from the nursing team so they can do what they do best and nurse patients.
