These workshops are suitable for both new and experienced immunisers, including pharmacists, nurses, healthcare support workers, and pharmacy technicians involved in delivering seasonal influenza vaccinations.

Experienced immunisers can use this training to refresh and update their practical immunisation skills in line with NHSE&I guidance.

Healthcare professionals who are new to immunisation should also complete our online or virtual “New Immunisers’ Foundation Course” to fully meet the National Minimum Standards for Vaccination Training.

We offer both morning and afternoon workshop sessions, each lasting approximately 3.5 hours.

Standard Session Times

  • Morning Session: 09:00 – 12:30
  • Afternoon Session: 13:30 – 17:00

Health Academy are pleased to offer a series of practical face-to-face flu training workshops in various locations throughout the country. These workshops will allow immunisers to be compliant with practical immunisation skills in line with NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) guidelines. 

Who are these face-to-face flu training workshops suitable for?

These face-to-face flu training workshops are perfect for both new and experienced immunisers. If you’re an experienced immunising pharmacist, nurse, or healthcare support worker, this course will help you update and refresh your immunisation skills. Completing the course will also ensure you comply with the practical immunisation update guidelines set by NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I). This course is also suitable for Pharmacy Technicians.

However, if you’re a new immuniser, you should add our online “New Immunisers’ Foundation Course” to be fully compliant with national minimum standards outlined by NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I).

How long do the face-to-face flu training 2026/27 workshops last?

We have scheduled AM and PM sessions. The sessions will run for 3.5hrs therefore, either starting at 9.00am  or 1.30pm depending on which course you select.

Standard session times are:

  • Morning: 9.00 – 12.30
  • Afternoon: 13.30 – 17.00
However more dates and locations may be added to programme depending on availability and demand. Please contact us if you have a request for a face-to-face flu training 2025/26 workshop in a specific location or within your organisation.
