This Time Management training course has everything you need to take back control over your time. It will help you plan where you want to be and effectively manage your time so you can focus on getting there, whilst offering useful tips and strategies for avoiding distractions along the way.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Learn to manage your time more effectively and become more efficient at work
  • Learn about the 80/20 theory and how you can overcome it
  • Provide actionable tips to others on how to manage their time more effectively

SECTION 1

The course begins by looking at ways to effectively plan and manage your time. It helps you set long-term goals, which in turn help you create medium- and short-term steps to get there, stripping away anything which wastes your time.

The second half of the first section looks at some of the methods you can employ to help you prioritise your To-do list; from very simple to more advanced techniques for deciding which of your daily tasks take priority.

SECTION 2

The second section of the course is all about those interruptions or periods of distraction which waste your time; we call them Time Bandits. The first half of this section looks at ways to deal with external time bandits – anything which originates outside of yourself and needlessly takes up your time.

The final half of this section looks at how to cope with internal time bandits – things which you do to waste your own time. This includes dealing with procrastination and why multi-tasking is a myth.
