Our Health & Safety in Care Training Course works alongside and helps you understand Standard 13 of the Care Certificate. This Standard touches on the legislation, policies & responsibilities relating to Health & Safety in the Care sector, as well as looking at accidents and sudden illnesses.

SECTION 1
Rules are important, they govern every aspect of our lives and we rely on them for everything. In this first section of the course, we’re going to look at the laws, policies, and procedures which affect the way you work; and we’ll consider who’s responsible for keeping people safe in your workplace.
SECTION 2
Accidents and sudden illnesses can affect anyone at any time. In this section, we’ll look at some of the things you can do to help ensure the physical and mental health of everyone at your workplace including what to do in an emergency situation, how to safely handle and administer medication, and how to spot the signs and symptoms of stress.
