Description
This is part of the ‘Health Academy Short Course’ series and provides clinicians with specific information related to the Pneumococcal disease and the Prevenar 13® (PCV13), Vaxneuvance® (PCV15) and Pneumovax 23® (PPV23) vaccines.
This course is suitable for all healthcare workers, including Nurses, Pharmacists, HCSWs that administer these vaccine in practice.
This ‘Short Course’ will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
Course Content:
Pneumococcal Disease including the organism, symptoms, epidemiology, transmission route, treatment and prevention.
- Prevenar 13® (PCV13) vaccine
- Vaxneuvance® (PCV15) vaccine
- Pneumovax 23® (PPV23) vaccine
